Environmental Responsibility
Here at Mid Devon Pest Control, we take our environmental responsibility very seriously. Modern legislation is driving a reduction in the use of pesticides and their impact on the environment.
Pesticide use will be discussed with you as we draw up your bespoke Integrated Pest Management Plan. We want to prevent your pest problem rather than just use chemicals to eradicate it.
We are conscious of the need to protect children and pets, which is why we use tamper-proof bait boxes. We also provide you with all information about any chemicals that have been used and advice on ensuring you and your family are safe. We Specialise In
Rats and Mice
Not only do they carry diseases that can be hazardous to your health, but they multiply very quickly if left to their own devices. They can damage property as well as stored food and crops.
Flies
A seasonal pest which despite being a common occurrence, can cause a real nuisance in your home or place of business.
Fleas
These can bite and cause irritation to both pets and humans alike. They can transfer diseases and infections to humans.
Squirrels
These pests can make their home in your loft, garage or outbuildings, damaging anything you store in there. They can also pass fleas onto your pets.
Moles
A seasonal pest which despite being a common occurrence, can cause a real nuisance in your home or place of business.
Wasps and Hornets
Renowned for being a nuisance during the summer months, we can safely and efficiently remove these from your property and land.
Cockroaches
These pests live in warm, humid conditions, usually food preparation areas. They can spread disease and once embedded in your property, can be hard to eradicate – so early treatment is vital.
Bee Swarms
As we are beekeepers ourselves, we aim to remove swarms safely and re-home the bees with us.
Ants
Another seasonal pest which is usually found in the kitchen. As well as being a nuisance, they can carry diseases and contaminate food.
Flour moths and biscuit beetles
Stored product insects commonly found in commercial food stores, if left unchecked they can multiply rapidly.
